Puddleduck - Girton Sailing Club 30th-31st May 2009

Once again Girton Sailing Club picked the right weekend to hold the 'Puddleduck'. Blessed with lots of sunshine and a light to good easterly breeze the weather proved to be excellent for both sailing and sunbathing.

Thirteen vistor boats joined six club boats, with many people choosing to use the free camping/caravanning facilities to create a good holiday atmosphere.

Last years winners Phil and Helen Bailey from Girton S.C. were there to defend the title, but with some top class visitors this was always going to go to the wire and so it proved.

Tracy and Gemma Amos, from Redoubt, taking the final honours with three wins out of five.
